We live in a very social world and as a 10-socialmediamgmt-binderbusiness owner you can’t shy away from having a presence on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+ and Pinterest. While social media is such a huge part of our everyday lives, it can be a huge time-suck.

Many small business owners don’t bother with social media because of the following reasons:

What is Social Media Management?

The basic principle of a Social Media Manager is to create a presence on social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, Google+, etc.) for a company that will help them grow their client base. Not only will a Social Media Manager create and post relevant information, they will also track and report on the interaction that is received.

As a Social Media Manager you can help your clients understand that social media is important and that it doesn’t have to be time-consuming for them. You will take care of all of the details (where to post, when to post, etc.)  Social Media is a BIG challenge for many small business owners and therefore there is a BIG opportunity for you.
